About Me

 Welcome! My name is Laurie Katz and I am an elementary teacher, animal lover, runner, and Boston native, Go Sox!

I am also a rape survivor and advocate. My freshman year of college, I was sexually assaulted. I wrote a book, Liar Liar: Breaking the Silence on Sexual Assault, about my rape and recovery and hope to help others by sharing my story.
